About Me...

My name is Ryan Gibbons * I am a teller of stories * A creator of ideas * A preserver of memories * I am someone who contemplates the past while still dreaming of the future.  The author E.B. White said it this way...'I arise in the morning, torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world.  This makes it hard to plan the day.'

One of my favorite authors is a wonderful gal named SARK.  She write these words...'Everything we've done contributes and gives clues to our true work.  All my rejections & misguided attempts to publish & share my work are part of the collage and in fact, support the growth I am experiencing now...NOTHING IS LOST OR WASTED.'



In my adult life, I have earned money doing all of the following 'jobs'. Not all of them have constituted a full-time occupation, but they all have contributed to the  'collage'.

1. Mandolin player & vocalist in a bluegrass band
2. High School Teacher (Drama, Speech & World History)
3. Country Radio DJ (WQKT...'Hit-Kickin' Country!)
4. Computer Reseller and Education Consultant
5. Booking Manager for professional musicians and actors
6. High School Coach (Volleyball, Basketball & Track)
7. Photographer & Artist
8. Minister of every stripe and flavor...at one point or another I have been all of the following: worship minister, children's minister, youth minister, preaching minister, education minister and small groups minister.
